Walmart Canada Clearance: The Markdown Schedule
Walmart Canada doesn't publish a markdown calendar. What decides the clearance price you see is your province, rollback vs. clearance, and pickup stock.
Most people who search for a Walmart Canada markdown schedule want a day of the week when clearance drops. Walmart doesn't publish one. What you can plan around is where you live, whether a cut is a rollback or real clearance, and what "in stock" means on walmart.ca. Those three things explain most of the clearance prices that seem to appear and vanish for no reason.
Your province sets the price
Walmart Canada sets many of its prices at the provincial level. A clearance price someone posts from Alberta may not exist at your store in Ontario, and the other way around. When a deal thread on a forum doesn't match your shelf, this is usually why: the poster was looking at another province's price.

The difference changes how you should time a purchase. Waiting on a rollback can cost you, because the old price returns. Waiting on clearance can pay off, because an item that isn't selling can be marked down again. It can also sell out before that happens, and that's the gamble.
In the store, clearance usually shows up as a new sticker on the shelf edge, and the endcaps toward the back tend to collect it.
What each one looks like on a price chart
On a price history chart, a rollback is a dip that climbs back to the old price. Clearance is a step down that stays down, sometimes followed by another step. If an item stepped down a few weeks ago and hasn't moved since, it's either waiting for its next markdown or already at its floor. The chart can't tell you which. That's the situation a price alert is built for: set the price you'd actually pay and stop checking.
"In stock" on walmart.ca isn't the same as on your shelf
Walmart.ca will show an item as in stock when it can ship to you. Whether a store near you has it ready for pickup is a separate question.
